Basquiat: A remarkable painting by Jean-Michel Basquiat, noted for its iconic elements like the crown, expressive face, and textual elements, is slated for auction at Christie’s in New York. Titled “The Italian Version of Popeye has no Pork in his Diet,” this 1982 masterpiece, part of Basquiat’s acclaimed series using visible stretcher bars, is anticipated to command an estimated price of around $30 million. Sourced from a private collection in New York, the artwork was last exhibited in Milan between 2006 and 2007.

Local miniature artist Wilfred Cheah has garnered considerable acclaim for his latest creation, "Legend of Madam White Snake," an intricately detailed diorama set in a traditional Chinese wayang (opera) backdrop. This captivating piece features a bustling audience immersed in the spectacle on stage along with a glimpse into the bustling backstage chaos.

Peggy Fulcher, an avid photographer from Edmonton, is set to make her mark in pop culture, specifically soda pop culture. Combining her passion for photography and classic cars, she entered a captivating photo of vintage Volkswagen cars into a contest hosted by Jones Soda. Fulcher, who dabbles in photography as a hobby, has a penchant for capturing various subjects. Her diverse collection of photos often finds its way onto greeting cards, which she generously shares with friends and markets for potential sale.

From 19.04 to 16.05. the Fourth International Project "Art Unites the World. Humanity and the Cosmos" in Palazzo Pisani Revidine in the format of the parallel programme of the 60th Art Biennale in Venice. The event is attended by 37 artists from 15 countries (Mexico, Peru, Iran, Japan, China, Pakistan, South Korea, France, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Germany, USA, North Macedonia, Russia).
