The Suprematist Cosmism of Kazimir Malevich inspired my series "Transition to the State of Zero Gravity." Malevich's principles of geometrism, weightlessness, lack of perspective, and rhythm became the foundation of my works. In them, the law of gravity, which governs the interaction between material bodies, doesn't apply because ideas and thoughts have no physical mass. The surfaces of my objects are now flexible, convex, and concave, almost weightless. Translucent figures seem to float in space, resembling images woven from hemispheres. The cosmos is depicted as the mother's womb that gives birth to life and endows it with a soul, thus conveying the idea of a sacred transcendental connection between man, earth, and space.
