Samvel Stepanyan 1955-1996 Armenia. Place of birth: Yerevan Date of death: 1996 Place of death: Yerevan Brief information: 1980 – graduated from the Art and Theater Institute.Since 1980, he has been a regular participant in republican, all-Union and international exhibitions.He was a member of the Goyak art association.1989 – creative team in yprus.Works are in the Museum of Modern Art (Yerevan), the National Gallery of Armenia (Yerevan), and in many new collections in Armenia and abroad.

The work presented at the exhibition was painted in 1992 in an abstract style. At this time, Armenia became free from the Soviet Union. The desire for freedom from socialist realism inspired artists to create new art. The artist is interested in rock art drawings. The author achieves a special expression. New art has become a symbol of the avant-garde in the history of art in Armenia.
