International Exhibition in Venice and New Developments by the Italian Photographer
The fourth International Exhibition of the project "Art Unites the World: Humanity and Space" at Palazzo Pisani Revidin, a parallel program of the 60th Venice Art Biennale, has just concluded. The event featured 40 artists from 15 countries. In the seven halls of Palazzo Pisani, various special exhibitions were displayed, presenting the perspectives of artists from different continents on the role of humanity in the universe and the quest for ways to preserve peace and civilization. The special video installation "The First" was produced with the participation of the First Channel of Russian Television, supported by Konstantin Ernst.
Episodes of the film "Challenge," shot in space, were showcased. In a phygital format, the exhibition was complemented by a triptych titled "The First," by Italian artist Enzo Rosamilia (portraits of the first cosmonaut, Yu. Gagarin, the first female cosmonaut, Tereshkova, and the first space actress, Yu. Peresild), created in honor of the 90th anniversary of the world's first cosmonaut. Another significant success for the artist, Enzo Rosamilia, on whom Irina Chuvarayan, journalist and director of a prominent Russian magazine, has penned the following text that we present below.
Enzo Rosamilia, an Italian photographer and artist, received his training at the Neapolitan Academy of Fine Arts. Since the late 1970s, he has been dedicated to artistic photography and has been teaching at the Sabatini/Menna Art High School in Salerno since the early 1980s. With over 50 years' experience in photography, he has developed a unique method for mounting photographic images on handmade paper produced in the city of Amalfi (province of Salerno, Italy), appreciated by artists for centuries for its special textural properties. Each masterpiece is hand-colored using special emulsions, an exclusive technique that combines painting and photography. He serves as an Associate Professor at the Sabatini/Menna Art High School in Salerno and is a member of the Board of Experts of the Eurasian Union of Art.
Significant coverage in the Russian press has been devoted to the activities of the Italian photographer, Enzo Rosamilia, aimed at promoting Russian literary culture. The close collaboration with Enzo Rosamilia has led to the birth of numerous projects. Thus, in October 2022, a magazine dedicated to the Maestro was presented at the Mikhail Bulgakov House Theater, where an exhibition of the works of the Italian photographer took place.
In November 2023, a Bulgakov's cat raincoat NFT was released by the magazine's director, designer Irina Chuvarayan (under the brand Britishka), which depicted the cat by Enzo Rosamilia. This item later became a gift at the United Nations conference in Tashkent dedicated to combatting the use of cryptocurrencies to finance terrorism. The Russian Federation was represented by virtual assets expert Andrey Novikov, who, at the end of the speech, presented and donated an unusual gift to the head of the UN's counter-terrorism department: a raincoat with an NFC label, linking a physical product to the NFT of this raincoat, specially created for the event. Furthermore, he gifted all attendees a digital gift in NFT format. An original gift - a raincoat - has become the embodiment of the creative collaboration between Russian designer Irina Chuvarayan and Italian photographer Enzo Rosamilia. It is the first model of experimental clothing with prints from a series of photographic works based on the novel "The Master and Margarita." A digital copy is also created, an NFT is issued, and linked to the original product as evidence of authenticity and uniqueness. Our publication is setting up an online gallery of Enzo Rosamilia's works, with the option to purchase both originals and digital copies. And now, his photo adorns the screens of Moscow. We thank you for your long-term collaboration and eagerly await the birth of new creative ideas and international-level projects!
